In this one, the poet seems to acknowledge that it is often hard to simply live in and enjoy the moment, perhaps because we are afraid it can't last. DeleteI must admit I had to look up Kwanzaa, had never heard of it before and I don’t think it is much celebrated over here in UK – not to the extent of the shops selling related goods, and the retail business is usually very good at utilising every festive season for extra sale. I read about Kwanzaa online so now I am educated on the subject too :-)
