Well, that went quickly, didn't it? Here I am at my new site already and the only difference you may see is the change in the URL. Isn't it wonderful when things work like they are supposed to?
How about we share another Mary Oliver poem? After all, you can never have too many of those. In this one, the poet seems to acknowledge that it is often hard to simply live in and enjoy the moment, perhaps because we are afraid it can't last. She urges us to give in to that moment and fully experience the joy. Although "much can never be redeemed, still, life has some possibility left." Don't Hesitate by Mary Oliver If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still, life has some possibility left. Perhaps this is its way of fighting back, that sometimes something happens better than all the riches or power in the world. It could be anything, but very likely you notice it in the instant when love begins. Anyway, that’s often the case. Anyway, whatever it is, don’t be afraid of its plenty. Joy is no...
Wow, I'm impressed my brave blogger friend:)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteimpressive! if i tried it, a hopeless quandary would result (looks somewhat like a giraffe with too many thumbs lol)...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new site!
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me! Way to go with it.
ReplyDeleteThat was really quick. Do you have more flexibility on this platform...better blogging tools, etc.?
ReplyDeleteI'll still be using Blogger to compose but this should give me more "ownership" of the process.
DeleteCongratulations! Looks neat. All the very best.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad it seems to be working out great! I love the look!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Dorothy! How did you manage to do this? :)
ReplyDeleteI remember doing it a couple of years ago, but first it went wrong and my whole website didn't work anymore. I was so stressed out lol!
I still use Blogger to compose, though :)
I managed to do it by letting my daughter, the IT program manager, do it. She'd been bugging me to let her do it for a while. I would probably never have been able to do it on my own.
DeleteCongratulations!
DeleteLove the new design! Sometimes I think it is time for me to make this jump also, but then I worry I would somehow lose everything, and that is entirely possible because if I can figure out a way to screw it up, I will!
