it was amazing
I finished this book a couple of days ago but just couldn't immediately think what to say about it in a review. I wasn't even sure how I felt about it. It really was unlike anything I had ever read before.

Time to check in once again on Sheriff Walt Longmire and the quirky residents of Absaroka County, Wyoming. This time there is definitely something rotten in the county but at first it is not clear just what it is.

I’m still hoping to squeeze in a few more books before the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteMe, too. Three more weeks should give me time for six more books, although the holidays might interfere with that plan. (Obviously, my schedule isn't as busy as yours!)

ReplyDeleteI have read a lot of REALLY good books this year and still have a few to go. I'm currently reading this year's Man Booker Prize winner and have a few more that I hope to finish before the end of the year.

DeleteAs for your "unimpressive" total, you, I think, have a very busy life. It's a lot easier to run up the total if you are retired!
Nice selection you have! Not a lot of overlap between us, a few though. We love, love, love, David Sedaris in my house, but we like to hear him himself, what's funny is funnier in his own voice!

I love Goodreads mostly for that reason - it tracks what I read. I've been a member for several years and it's always good to look back at what I've read in previous years and reread some of my reviews. And I totally agree with you about Sedaris. We always listen to his books on audio.
