Greater Yellowlegs in flight at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge on the Texas Coast. The yellowlegs is one of the iconic birds of the Texas Coast in winter.


  1. Pretty! I love in-flight pictures.

  2. I think they reveal the personality of the bird; plus, they sometimes show colors that you don't ever see when the bird is on the ground or perched.
