Books, gardens, birds, the environment, politics, or whatever happens to be grabbing my attention today.
This seems somehow particularly appropriate at the moment.
It could have been written today. It sends chills down my spine.

I live thousands of miles away but I’m appalled and saddened by what is happening.
Who would have ever thought that the greatness of America would end like this?
I have not read this poem before but it speaks volumes now .... how dark it's become

A powerful choice, and honestly it fits the mood of the moment perfectly. Sometimes poetry names things we struggle to say out loud.
