There is water there and they just quack all day and fly around a bit. They get really close too when were in the garden. I have a spark of hope that they will have their nest close by! I love observing them ^^

Thanks for all your wonderful facts on nature and birds.Esther @ BiteIntoBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00521908679162311172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560838335414244511.post-64754354314066853322021-04-03T16:48:22.375-05:002021-04-03T16:48:22.375-05:00I have to believe that the world would be a better...I have to believe that the world would be a better, more peaceful place if there were more gardeners in it.Dorothy Bordershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12441731296027227394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560838335414244511.post-69035447328910548122021-04-03T16:45:39.335-05:002021-04-03T16:45:39.335-05:00I'm pulling for the California Condor. In Los Angeles it is forbidden to cut them down! I am eager to read the book.

One of my blogging friends in Australia has faced the wildfires and now the floods. It brings it home to you when you have family and friends who suffer because of the weather events brought on by climate changes.

I'm currently reading Out of Eden for our naturalist group book club, and it highlights the problems in differentiating between native and nonnative species.Deb Nance at Readerbuzzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12128529491888701996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560838335414244511.post-31141390513580466222021-04-03T06:14:27.903-05:002021-04-03T06:14:27.903-05:00Thank you for the roundup, Dorothy.
