I can never understand, that to have a dog I need a licence, have to ensure that it has shots, is microchipped, must be kept on a leash etc., but I can have a dozen cats without restrictions and let them roam at will. I noticed two days ago my bird feeders were unusually quiet, and then I noticed a cat hidden under one of the bushes (and yes it had pooped in my yard) - it had better not return!David M.
