But I really hail the news about the Grizzly Bears in Yellowstone. That's terrific!!! Good god why do you need to hunt a grizzly bear ... which is basically endangered. these hunters are nuts. Hooray for the bears!!thecuecardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08870323589682197091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560838335414244511.post-29756600054298702342020-07-12T22:11:36.261-05:002020-07-12T22:11:36.261-05:00Thanks, Betty. Bird-friendly windows...Quick return visit, Dorothy. Bird-friendly windows are mandatory on all new construction here so I should think it wouldn't be too difficult to implement that universally. There is an organization in Toronto called FLAP (Fatal Light Awareness Program) and birds that have struck buildings are collected each morning. I know that the situation has improved with modifications to the glass and reduced lighting at critical times during migration. A small glimmer of good news!David M. The male has an impressive crown, they are about the size of a mourning dove. The family was moving through the back yard yesterday afternoon and attracted the attention of a peacock who seemed to be stalking them. The male got on the wall around my backyard and began what sounded like a scolding cry while the female gathered her chicks under the plumbago bush. Also involved was a rabbit, minding his own business eating grass. It was exciting!Judy Kruegerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11632346091869688862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560838335414244511.post-31823501569703757662020-07-11T10:15:56.550-05:002020-07-11T10:15:56.550-05:00Thanks for taking the time.
